Dayal Singh Duggal is the Founder Director at DSP Technologies, a
company providing professional sales and marketing consulting support to
the defence and aerospace industry involved in the field of specialized
electronic components and sub-systems. He has joined SMCEL as President
during 2015 and works as advisor on RF & Microwave Business. His
previous assignment was Country Director at Thales India. He has over 40
years of experience in the aerospace and defence industry including
working in the field of sales and marketing of electronic equipment,
components & subsystems. The various products handled include Ground
and Airborne radars, EW missiles, Commercial and civil satellites,
conventional and digital Radiology, plasma heating for nuclear fusion,
Test and measuring instruments etc. Previously, he was the Country
Director (Components and Subsystems Group) of Thales between 1983 and
2008 at Thales India. He was responsible for the activities of Thales
for India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan. He was also able to
successfully sign and execute Technology Transfer agreements for
licensed production of Thales Products in India that helped eliminate
competition in important Defence programs. From 1970 to 1983, he was
leading a group of about 20 professionals at Blue Star Ltd.,
representing all products from Hewlett-Packard USA.
